We work with professional vegan, cruelty free formulas and sulfate free care from Oribe, Aveda, Olaplex and K18, so your color stays healthy and lasts.

Our story

Believing in yourself means giving yourself permission to go beyond what others imagined for you.

I’m María Cortés, founder of MC María Cortés Hair Salon in New York City. I grew up in an environment where a woman’s future seemed to be decided by others. Building my independence and opening my salon meant daring to recognize my talent and make room for my own ambitions.

Today, as a Latina entrepreneur, I want this space to inspire confidence through beauty and care. I want every woman to remember that she has a voice, ability, and the right to choose her own path. Because believing in yourself also means giving yourself permission to go beyond what others imagined for you.
